Need Clarity?? I've got it!!

I often hear people say, "I want to learn about this, but I'm really confused!" Seriously, ever since I began working in digital marketing just a few months ago, this is probably the most common thing people tell me.

So, let's explain this in simple words. If you're similar to me, you value honest discussion, genuine conversation, and a straightforward explanation. This email aims to provide that experience, whether you're new here or have been following my activities for the past months.

Simply put, digital marketing is the online marketing of digital products. Think online learning products such as a course, video presentation, online training, or a digital too. It could also be a resource like a planner, journal, or e-book. Mostly likely people get thrown off with this is that it’s NOT a physical product.

When you're selling physical items as a business, you pay money for a product that could be delivered to your home. You spot the product, buy it using a link from someone online, and within a few days, the physical item arrives at your door.

Okay, perfect! It’s almost the EXACT same thing with a digital product except you actually gain access, in most cases, to the digital product immediately. It arrives through email in the form of a download, or it’s housed in an online portal and is easily accessible. Are things starting to clear up a little for you? I hope so! BUT, let me keep going with a scenario…

You might have noticed me talking about this, reading my emails, and feeling interested, but a bit unsure. Digital products and affiliate programs are everywhere on the internet these days, and actually, they have been for a long time. Consider Nike, LiketoKnowIt, and Amazon. Most big companies have discovered that one of the very best methods to reach more people is by using referral methods like affiliate programs. With these programs, you can earn a small reward by using a special link to discuss their product.

Digital products work in the exact same manner. Someone has already done all the hard work and made the digital product. Then, they added an affiliate program to it, allowing you to sell it and get a commission. Unlike affiliate programs for physical products where you might earn around 10%-30% commission, digital products can actually give you 100% commissions. Yes, that's true.

You might be wondering, "If I get 100% commission on a sale, how does the creator earn money?" That's a fantastic question! I had the same curiosity. The reality is, in many cases, there could be some elements within the digital product that the creator also has an affiliate connection with, earning them a smaller portion. But it's still a success because while you're making 100% commission, the creator is continuously making ongoing income as their brand grows through referrals.

I find it to be a smart business approach! Furthermore, these digital products are usually incredibly informative. This means you're gaining valuable skills for growing a business or understanding how to promote the digital product you've acquired to generate income.

There’s only so much I can write in one email, but at the end of the day, this is a fit for you if you are interested in:

➡️ Learning & growing a business you are already involved in.

➡️ Earning an income by promoting an already created, incredible digital product.

➡️ Learning new techniques such as email campaigns, TikTok mastery, how to use AI, and so much more.

➡️ Being a part of an in-the-know community where only the best business building wisdom is shared.

Hopefully, this email helps you understand digital marketing and digital products on a deeper level. For now, feel free to reach out to me on Facebook if you’re ready to get started. If you’re still watching & waiting, stay tuned for upcoming emails that can help you with your decision!

Until then,

XO Pam
